The Fine Leatherworking simple case course will be held at the Chicago School of Shoemaking. Sean’s offering several course options to suit your needs and schedule. Choose one or more sessions depending on what you’d like to learn and your level of experience.

Try out the fundamental skills to make leather goods in this short half-day course. Including:

• cutting leather
• using a pattern for your project
• attaching a snap
• hand-sewing
• basic leather edge finishing

You’ll utilize the skills above to create a leather case that you can use as a clutch or hold various small items. All materials are included, and we’ll provide the tools.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced leatherworker, this course helps you improve your core skills to easily tackle more significant and complex projects.

Saturday, December 16th, 5pm -8pm

All sessions include the opportunity to try out a wide variety of tools, all materials needed to complete your project, and a course guide for the project, including detailed instructions and patterns.
